Absence Policy
If a student is absent from school, his/her parent or guardian should call 356-3781 between the hours of 8:00 and 10:00 a.m. The office will contact all parents who do not report their absent children.
Anytime a student returns to schools after being absent, including prearranged absences, a note is required or the absence will be unexcused. After the third day per grade period, a doctor's note is required. We can accept a total of nine parent notes for the school year.
Students are expected to attend school every day. Students having excused absences shall be allowed to make up work. It is the parent's/guardian's responsibility to contact the teacher concerning make-up work. Please do not schedule vacations on identified school days as vacations are considered unexcused according to Kenton County Board Policy.
